Full service design for Casa Pei – a Korean restaurant that offers handmade dumplings and specialty coffee.
The identity represents Pei’s vision of the family business: a place where she can share her traditions through food and a curation of goods executed with excellence that breathe her values of minimalism, simplicity and grace. The construction of the custom wordmark takes inspiration from the rounded shape of a dumpling with high contrast among its characters that reflect the folded aspect of it.
The color selection is based on the ingredients of the dumpling dough, flour and water.
